Functional Nutrition Counseling
Your body is not a collection of separate symptoms.your story is whole
Digestion, immune balance, brain function, food, stress, sleep, movement, and metabolism are always in conversation. My work begins by listening to your whole story—not by placing you into a ready-made protocol.
Does this sound familiar?
You know something deserves a closer look.
You may have been told that everything looks “normal,” yet you do not feel like yourself. Or perhaps you already have medical answers, but still need help understanding what supportive nutrition and daily habits could look like in real life.
- You are navigating an autoimmune condition or persistent inflammatory concerns.
- Digestive discomfort, changing food tolerance, or an increasingly restricted diet affects daily life.
- Brain fog, reduced focus, or inconsistent mental energy makes it harder to feel like yourself.
- Gluten-free living is medically necessary, or gluten-related concerns are being evaluated with appropriate medical care.
- Weight or metabolic changes seem connected to a bigger picture.
- You are frustrated by isolated approaches and want to participate actively in your health alongside medical care.
You are not a checklist of symptoms. You are a person with a history, a daily life, preferences, responsibilities, strengths, and a body whose systems continually influence one another.
Where we may begin
Different concerns. One connected body.
One of these areas may be what first brought you here. Our work does not stop at its label: we follow the connections that are relevant to you.
Autoimmunity & Inflammation
Support immune resilience by exploring nutrition, gut health, sleep, stress, movement, and environmental inputs alongside the care provided by your medical team.
Digestion & Gut Health
Look beyond digestive discomfort to the patterns connecting food tolerance, the gut-brain relationship, immune function, energy, and everyday wellbeing.
Brain Fog & Cognitive Wellness
Explore the foundations that support clearer thinking, including nourishment, blood-sugar steadiness, digestion, restorative sleep, stress, and movement.
Gluten-Free Living & Food Sensitivities
Create a thoughtful, adequately nourished way of eating that respects medical guidance, reduces confusion, and protects joy and confidence around food.
Weight & Metabolic Health
Move beyond “eat less, move more” by considering appetite, energy, meal rhythm, sleep, stress, muscle, digestion, and a sustainable relationship with food.
Many clients recognize themselves in more than one of these areas. Our work does not begin by placing you into a category. It begins by understanding how the different parts of your story may be connected.
The whole-body view
We think in connections, then make the plan practical.
I consider your health history, medical diagnoses and current care, food and symptom patterns, digestion, gluten exposure and cross-contact where relevant, sleep, stress, movement, environment, daily routines, preferences, practical realities, goals, readiness, and existing laboratory information.
The goal is not to control every variable. It is to identify the most meaningful places to begin.
think · test · thrive
The 3T framework
Understand the Story
We explore your timeline, patterns, priorities, and the connections that may deserve attention.
Add Useful Context
When appropriate, existing laboratory information or functional testing may add context. Testing is not required for every client, and laboratory fees are separate.
Make It Livable
We translate insight into realistic nutrition and lifestyle choices that can be implemented, observed, and adjusted over time.
A deliberately personal practice
My private practice is intentionally small and highly personalized.
I work with a limited number of clients at a time so that each person receives thoughtful preparation, continuity, and support shaped around her individual history, priorities, and daily life.
For this reason, private work begins with an application, and availability cannot be guaranteed.
Personalized support allows for
- Thoughtful preparation and close attention
- Continuity and individualized strategy
- Review outside appointments
- Meaningful follow-up
- Support adapted to real life
Fit, readiness, scope, complexity, mutual agreement, and current capacity all matter. A suitable applicant may be offered a waiting-list place when the practice is full.
How the process works
A considered path into private support.
- Complete the ApplicationShare your primary concerns, health context, what you have already tried, expectations, readiness, and the support you are seeking. Submitting an application does not guarantee an invitation.
- Personal ReviewI personally review your application. You may receive an invitation, a request for more information, a respectful note that the service is not the right fit, or a waiting-list option if capacity is full.
- Initial Functional Nutrition ConsultationOnly approved applicants receive the booking link. This is a paid, standalone professional consultation—not a free discovery call, sales call, or guarantee of continued support.
- Possible Invitation to Ongoing SupportAfter the consultation, we consider professional fit, scope, readiness, the support required, mutual agreement, and current capacity. Completing the consultation does not guarantee ongoing support.
The application helps me assess whether your request appears to fall within my professional scope and whether the stated investment and type of support are appropriate for you.
Your first private step
Initial Consultation
This is where we slow down and look at the whole picture.
Before we meet, I personally review your completed application and the essential information you have provided.
During our 75–90 minute consultation, we explore your health timeline, current concerns and care, food and lifestyle patterns, priorities, and the areas that may deserve deeper attention.
The consultation provides meaningful value in its own right and helps us determine whether continued private support would be appropriate for both of us.

Paid in advance
What it includes
- Pre-consultation application and intake review
- 75–90 minute private consultation
- Whole-body pattern mapping
- Initial nutrition and lifestyle priorities
- Guidance on appropriate next steps
- Recommendation for continued support, when appropriate
This is a complete standalone consultation. Continuing into private support is not guaranteed and depends on professional fit, readiness, scope, availability, and mutual agreement.
Continued private work
Ongoing Private Support
$600 per month
Paid in advance
Most clients benefit from working together for approximately three to six months, depending on their needs, goals, progress, and the complexity of their health story.
There is no required long-term commitment. Support is renewed one month at a time and is always paid in advance.
Personalized continuity
Your support is shaped around your individual needs rather than a fixed appointment schedule that is identical for every client.
Some weeks may require a longer conversation. At other times, a shorter check-in, careful review of progress, preparation outside the appointment, or time to implement the plan may be more useful.
Monthly support may include
- Personalized private sessions and focused check-ins
- Review of progress and relevant patterns
- Nutrition and lifestyle strategy adjustments
- Educational guidance
- Preparation and review outside scheduled appointments
- Secure messaging for brief practical questions
- Integration of relevant findings
Secure messaging
Secure messaging is available for brief questions during a designated weekday response window.
Messaging is intended for clarification and short practical questions related to the current plan. New concerns, detailed reviews, and significant strategy changes are addressed during scheduled sessions.
Testing when it adds value
Functional Testing
When functional testing is appropriate and completed as part of our active work together, the educational review of the findings and their integration into the nutrition and lifestyle strategy may be included in ongoing support.
Functional testing is not necessary for every client. Laboratory fees are separate and are always discussed in advance. Testing and educational review do not replace medical diagnosis or care.

Does the Initial Consultation guarantee ongoing support?
No. Continued work depends on professional fit, scope, readiness, mutual agreement, the level of support required, and availability.
How often will we meet?
The frequency and format are personalized. Some stages may benefit from a longer session; others may call for a shorter check-in, review outside the appointment, or time to implement and observe.
What is included in monthly private support?
Support may include private sessions, focused check-ins, review of progress and patterns, strategy adjustments, educational guidance, preparation outside appointments, brief secure messaging, and integration of relevant findings.

Can this work complement care from my physician or specialist?

Scope of practice
Supportive education, alongside medical care.
Functional Nutrition Counseling is educational and supportive. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease and does not replace care from a licensed physician or other qualified healthcare professional.
New, severe, persistent, or worsening symptoms should be evaluated by an appropriate medical professional.
Laboratory findings are reviewed for educational and nutrition-support purposes within Gaia’s professional scope.
