Curiosity, faith, and a deep love of life have shaped both who I am and the work I do.
I’ve always been curious by nature. I love understanding how things work, how they connect, and what may be happening beneath the surface.
That curiosity has shaped much of my life — from art and design to food, movement, travel, and eventually functional nutrition.
When I was diagnosed with a severe form of rheumatoid arthritis, that part of me became even stronger. Medical care was essential, but I also needed to understand what I could do, in my own life, to support my body.
So I began to study.
I read, researched, asked questions, changed habits, and explored nutrition, gluten, the gut, the brain, the environment, and the many ways our daily choices can influence how we feel.
What started as a personal search for answers became a deep and lasting passion.
Alongside my medical care, that work became part of the path that helped bring my disease into remission. I don’t share this as a formula, and I never assume that one person’s path can simply be repeated by another.
I share it because it is the honest reason I became a Functional Nutrition Counselor.
I wanted to understand more. I wanted to find the connections I had not been shown before. And once I began learning, I never really stopped.
My faith in God has carried me through every part of this journey. I believe deeply in doing everything that is within our power while trusting Him with what is not.
That faith has taught me perseverance, but also gratitude — gratitude for healing, for growth, and for the life I am able to live today.
And I truly love life.
I love my Italian roots, cooking for the people I care about, long conversations around a table, art, beauty, travel, dance, tennis, and the simple pleasure of creating moments that feel meaningful.
All of these parts belong together.
The counselor, the student, the creative, the woman of faith, the Italian who believes food should still bring joy.
They are all part of how I see health: not as perfection or control, but as understanding, nourishment, possibility, and a fuller way of living.
Understand your body.
Live your life fully.
